Its almost been a year, I remember the first time I ever went on there was my birthday. I stopped going on last July, right?

You might see me again, could be some catching up to do.

"Your evaluation time has expired, please register."

Register mIRC

"Thank you for trying out mIRC. mIRC can be downloaded freely and evaluated for up to 30 days. If after evaluating mIRC you find that you like it and wish to continue using it, you will need to register your copy."

How do I register mIRC?
mIRC can be registered easily and securely by clicking on the PayPal or RegNow icons on the right. A single-user license costs US$20.00.

After registering, you will receive your registration information by email, usually within a few minutes.

Your one time registration will work with current and future versions of mIRC.

Or I can go the free route:

All you need to do is to try or buy one of the many products offered by TrialPay, many of which you would normally buy anyway - such as games, music, or dvds, and you will receive an mIRC registration for free.

And then my attention span fizzled-out.

Apparently, if I click "register" on both Paypal and TrialPay otions, cancel both, then hit connect, I can bypass everything and still connect to a server.

WTF is the point then? Am I the only one getting these messages? :?

I use this:

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Chat/IRC-Clients/XiRCON.shtml

but that doesn't get any new updates anymore, but I don't care.

It's free, easy to use and I can connect myself to undernet easily! :D

mIRC isn't the only option!
You are free to choose!
Free yourself!
Be free!
Yippee!

I've seriously never found a better IRC client than Konversation, but for now that only runs on Linux/KDE.

I'm still looking for a decent client for Windows. I liked Xchat but it wasn't free on Windows (although it is on all other platforms) and the free Xchat clone sucked donkey bollocks.

Last one I tried was BersIRC I believe, which wasn't very convincing either. But I barely use Windows anyway so who cares ;)
