Hide Nowhere... I really love the vocal melodies on this songs!
The wall of sound was not really implemented yet... But Hide Nowhere is definitively one of the most remarkable precedents! I also find Funeral a great sound, and so is Life, Night, Regulator... Damn! This album is also incredible!
That is the toughest question ever. I went for Seventh Wave, just because hearing it just makes me want to hear the rest of the album, when realistically I love the whole thing.
Life bags up my vote here. The first ever Devin Townsend song I ever heard, the song I want played at my funeral and still possibly my favourite to this day, Life is a simple but powerful song
I went with Bastard, though The Death Of Music is a force to be reckoned with. AMAZING vocals - like nothing I've ever heard before. I also like the slow build up and all that goodness. But Bastard just ... it just rocks so hard.

Mmmmm yeah that song is awesome; that's another top song on that album. It's just so hard to choose.
I've found myself listening to The Death of Music alllll week. I just wish friends of mine would have the patience to sit through the length of the song so that they might see how awesome it is. Seems like most people have an attention span of about ... 4 minutes tops! =/
