yea thats looks convincing on the joker part
im just not sure the movie is gonne hold up to the hype, what with all the viral marketing being done, it just seems too much of a blockbuster to retain all its quality

Yep, this is what you get when it only debuted hours ago at the "I Am Legend" screenings.

Officially online next wednesday, I think. I will update this thread with it then.

I can't wait for I Am Legend... sorry, but the book is awesome, and the trailer looks great. Even IF Will Smith is a shitty actor.
Concerning The Dark Knight, I was already excited when I heard Heath Ledger was going to be the Joker. I can't remember where, but I've seen him do 'psychopath'-mode once, and it was fucking awesome.
Besides, it's Christian Bale and Gary Oldman... Two HUGE reasons for seeing this movie.

(.... no, I'm not counting Equilibrium.. that movie was never made; it's all in your mind...)

Heath's a damn fine actor (even though I'm clearly biased towards my fellow Australians). He did a couple of very commercial films early on in his career but now that he's got some cash in the bank, he's been making far more interesting choices. I very much doubt he would have taken this role on if he didn't think he could do something pretty good with it.

I Am Legend is one of the most bestest books ever, and it's the movie I would have made if I could have made one film in my lifetime.

SO THEY BETTER NOT FUCK IT UP!!!

Will Smith isn't a great start, but he's not the worst either (6 Degrees Of Separation, Happyness). I'll be front and centre to see it when it comes out.

Oh, and I agree, Oldman rules us all.

I really didn't like Batman Begins, everything just felt wrong. I hated Liam Neeson and Michael Caine and tried so very VERY hard to like Bale... Just didn't happen.

I'm still going to see this at some point though as the joker does look ace.
