Very funny stuff.

Also liked the Delfs.

When I first saw this thread I was like,"Dammit I'm trying to save money" but I opened it anyway and was presently suprised.

Actually, mods... there's an idea. How about a post-of-the-year/topic-of-the-year award type ceremony?

Like, with fancy clothes and feathered boas and limos and Ryan Seacrest? :D

I'll...ah...I'll think of something. I just need some motivation.

In all seriousness...

This is still our most important piece of evidence - http://hevydevyforums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6814&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Now, deadlines are nice, on our receiving consumer bastard end, but I absolutely don't mind the "whenever, wherever" mentality for any due date (maybe thats why I sometimes do poorly in school), whatever it takes to just shape and sculpt it until the artist can bear to part with it.

The point is, no joke, whatever this next record may be sounds DAMN cool, and from the sound of Dev in his post, it sounds like this album is the result of his muse continuing to nag him, creatively.

Think of it this way, Devin is back to being a solo artist. Yes, the bands are cool and all, but there's just something different about a piece that comes from just one person. I guess personally, I like the albums that were just Devin the best.

I really wish he would give us an update on that, whether or not he decided to finish it and if so when we can maybe hear even a 30 second sample of it.

Just let the man take his time! It won't be out until it's finished anyway and he's been spoiling us in the past couple of years anyway. Just sit back and wait, something will pop up eventually.
