The prestige that is supposed to come to those who are inducted into the Hall of Fame should most certainly be bestowed upon Dev. Not only from his own creative works, but the collaborative exellence he's made over the years. However, it's the Hall of Fame, therefore should be shunned. Here's to hoping that there will soon be a Hall of Muscianship, 'cause then Dev's a shoe-in.

He deserves the prestige, but he'll never get it.

Doubt it, but it would be very nice. However, the RnR Hall of Fame looks over most of the greatest acts.

Never, it's too reliant on record sales and public notoriety.

Although he could, it's not like anyone would fight back with Gene stood a few feet behind him! :p.

But yeah, Devins name and music isn't something thats plastered over the front of every Kerrang or Metal Hammer magazine (or any others I've missed). Hes all about the music, and at times no doubt avoids publicity.

Devs music is somewhat of an aquired taste and is most definately not mainstream. Hes not someone you hear on TV all the time, or on the radio all the time, and people that watch/listen to music on TV and radio probably wouldn't know what to make of his music because it's way beyond what they are used to. Yet his fans (although less of us than fans of mainstream) completely admire and respect dev for what he does. Personally, I think that respect and trust beats any kind of award or placement into a "hall of...".

So no, I don't think he will be.

hahahahahaha
who cares?

Stanley Kubrick never won an oscar... (one might argue that the oscar recieved for 'Barry Lyndon' for cinematography counts but no, it was won by the cinematographer, not Stanley).

There are too many bands and musicians out there today that deserve the attention and recognition so many artists of the past got. In fact they deserve it MORE than those artists because the artists of today are writing more original and daring pieces of music than that of most of yesterdays "rock stars" that have gained more media attention and overall hype than they deserve.
