Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

Right now this song seems to be a bit hit in France (well I don't listen to national (shitty) radios so I don't really know, but I haven't seen a negative critic on the net yet)

It's from the OST of a movie (that I haven't seen).

The whole album (of the band, not the movie's OST) sounds kinda similar (maybe a bit too much, it lacks surprise, but the whole is coherent), always a bit melancholic, but it sounds good.

Has anyone here heard the new Foo Fighters yet?
Arguably not their best effort, but it contains some fantastic tracks!

One of these tracks is entitled 'But Honestly', and with the outro part of the song I couldn't help but think of Devin's early 'Ocean Machine'-era. His best IMO.

What an awesome song. I hope that this album will soon grow on me more.

Bought it today. Heard it once. Not impressed. Not surprised.

That was my opinion in short :P
I love the Foo Fighters usually and even thought his album may be a little dull for their standards... they kick ass live!!
I had heard the new single (of course), The Pretender. It's basically the same song as the last single from the previous album, which was that? DOA or something? Anyway, that's why I wasn't surprised that the album didn't impress me.
Whereas In Your Honor had the "loud" and the "not so loud" songs on separate CD's, this one seems to mix the two. Not really a success IMO. Still, Dave Grohl is hot :P
Only the songtitle "Cheer Up Boys (Your Make Up Is Running)" makes it worth buying this album :P

Love the Foos. Great rock band. The Pretender sounds like Foo Fighters Colour By Numbers. BUT I have heard one other song on the radio (can't remember the title but Taylor intro'd it by saying it was his favourite track on the album) and it was great. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the album. I still find it kinda funny that the skinny little drummer from Nirvana is now a great writer of catchy riffs and frontman for one of the biggest bands on the planet! Good for him. :)

Success came with the beard, I swear :P

Is it true that people say he's "the nicest guy in rock music" or something? Well, people except Court-ney Love :P

Seems like a pretty genuine guy and is a major metal head (see Probot). The Foo's support for this hiv-does-not-cause-aids movement is a little strange, though. :?
