Ripley : Underground. Part three in the Tom Ripley series. Well, the first two were cool, but this movie sucks bigtime. This is the second time I've stopped a movie, EVER. The other one was Holy Man. I think this movie was actually worse than that.
The acting comes close to Transformers shittyness, the story sucks, it's just ... horrible.

1/10

Blue Velvet- One of David Lynch's less out-there films, but much more cathartic and insane. I loved it! All of the actors were great, and Dennis Hopper really surprised me...!

Inland Empire- Probably one of Lynch's most out-there films, and has some really freaky and wtf moments, but it's still really good. Probably requires a second viewing to understand it fully.

The Illusionist- I wanted to compare this to The Prestige, since it came out at the same time, but if anything, I personally think it's just as good. It's just a movie that presents different themes, and it does a great job doing so! Loved Edward Norton and Jessica Biel...! Some pretty neat magic stuff going on too...!

The last movie I saw was 'Taxi Driver'. Robert DeNiro is the fucking embodiment of a man who's done letting shit slide. Recommended for anyone who's ever been pissed off and wanted to make the world around them a better place.

The film is pretty much impossible to understand. It's like most of Lynch films, you just go along for the ride and interpret it in your own way. Cool film though, had some very scary moments in it.

Death Proof...thought it was cool. Didn't have high expectations but it was better than I thought. 7/10

Hannibal Rising...I liked it quite a bit. It was much better than most reviews suggested. I just wish Hopkins would have had some sort of guest appearance! 8/10

300...I was slow as usual and didn't see this one before today. A pretty damn cool movie indeed! 9/10

Them

French horror movie, based on a true story.

Really worth of buying, or at least seeing!

Feel the intensity, see nothing - hear everything.
Sorta gave me same kind of feelings that Descent
did, got you clinging on thread of hope, but right when
you feel almoust safe they cut the thread and you
fall into the darkness again..

It was a real contrast to my last movie verdict-movie,
since this was only 1' 14" long.
I thought it wouldn't be enough, but it was just great.

9+/10

Hmm, I only know Wes Craven's They. Never heard of a French horror movie with the same name.
Do you have an internet link? ... IMDB?

Woops

Mega-sized typo alert!

Movie title was Them, finnish title is "Uhka" (means threat, a bit misleading? :D), got me confused.

Corrected on my previous post too.

But anyway, here's the link http://imdb.com/title/tt0465203/.

(even Olivia Bonamy's awesome ass makes this movie worth watching )

Pan's Labyrinth...what a very strange but very good movie. I expected it to be a bit more, well, cute. But this is certainly nothing for kids. I might have to buy this one!
