I've been thinking of purchasing a 5.1 set for my computer. Is it worth it?

Its great, awesome sound for such a small unit. I was lucky with mine cos every store around my area is selling these for $99 (Australian dollars).

Here is the unit I bought.

It looks to be the same price all around the world. So you should be only paying what you see on Amazon.

I did some research on it and apparently it suffers from 2 problems:
1) "Plopping" sound when other electric devices on the same electrics group are turned on and off
2) Reception of radio signals on low volumes.
Other than that it's said to be a great set (except maybe the loud subwoofer and short cables but those are minor issues).

Apparently though, Logitech have some service that can get you your money back. For about 15 or 20 bucks you have the new version of this thing, the X-540 which doesn't have those problems. I'll be getting that one when the time is right.
