LOL... Lookin` forward to that, too... I`m from the western parts, in fact not so far from the Netherlands (you know Winterswijk?)

Hi, my name's Stoney, and I am a Devaholic.

*group answer* Hello Stoney!!!

Well, I guess I should come out of the shadows and stop only just reading posts  So hello everyone. My name is Ryan and I'm 21. I live in Ohio here in the U.S. and am also a guitar player/singer. I am currently studying psychology and broadcasting at the University of Akron. I love this forum--especially because of how everyone on it is obviously very tactful and mature about discussing.

The first time I was exposed to Devy was while channel surfing one night. I stumbled upon this a music video that scared the crap out of me! All I knew was that the guy singing looked posessed and he kept saying, "bombs away! bombs away!" I wasn't even sure if I liked the music...but I couldn't pull my eyes from the screen...I couldn't comprehend what I was hearing...it was just so intense! I waited for the artist and song names to appear at the end of the video and it read, "Strapping Young Lad...Relentless."

I stumbled upon that bloodied chicken feather album a little bit later and I just had to buy it. I didn't understand why I had to, but I just had to! Four years later...and I'm loving every single album Devy puts out!

That was mean what you done said about Biert. I mean, you know, TRUE...but mean.

And, while your birth certificate may say "older", you're personality will always be girly.

So, I guess it's my turn :)

Well, my name is Martin and I come from tiny Czech republic. I'm 20 years old (jeez, time flies ) and I study computer science at Charles University, Prague. I like math (pretty strange, huh? :D), I really love books and I'm huge fan of music. I played a piano for about 11 years but I quit tree years ago. Now I'm thinkig of buying guitar or bass guitar (haven't decided yet) and start playing again because... you know, I would like not only to "use" music but also to enjoy it in a more "active" way just like before :)

As I said, I really love music. I used to like mainly some power metal stuff like Sonata Arctica, Blind Guardian and so on but about a half year ago I fell in love with prog stuf like Ayreon, Pain Of Salvation, Opeth, Orphaned Land, Porcupine Tree, ... and that's what I listen to these days :)

I heard Devin for the first time....... last week :D (well, in fact I heard him already on The Human Equation by Arjen Lucassen but that time I didn't know him at all). After hearing a few songs of Terria I was a bit confused, it was something completely new to me. But then I got hooked :D It's simply amazing. Yesterday I bought my own precious Terria and I just love it! :D And I'm glad that I have so much to discover. The next album I'll buy will be probably Synchestra which I already heard and I like it a lot too :) Or rather Ziltoid (samples at his myspace sound cool 8))? Oh why am I so poor student? (read "poor" like "lazy" 'cause I really should get a summer job and not cry like that :)).

Oops I didn't mean to write so long post, sorry!
