Not going to give it a numbered rating. I preferred it to the other two, I think, simply because I like the villains in this one better. Well, that and it didn't feel so long and drawn out.

They fucked up Venom though. He sounds human and his host is Eric Foreman....

I'm really curious about this one. Most reviews say it much worse than the first two, and that Sandman is really a shitty character in the movie.
I'm still going to see it, because I'm a geek...

Very good film but in my opinion not as good as number 2. Some very good action sequences but I think some of the story was a bit forced i.e. the Sandman link back to the previous film.
Maybe there were too many baddies for one film!

I hear they are going to be making 6 films in total?

Yeah, I heard too that too. Well, as long as it's Sam Raimi at the wheel, the movies will never be that bad.

Speaking of Raimi, I've heard that Bruce Campbell has a bigger part in Spidey 3. That would be nice. Bruce rules

Bruce Campbell has a very funny cameo in Spidey3.
I will wet the appetite by saying he plays a French man.

Spiderman 3. I wasn't impressed by this at all. Not as good as the other two. Venom was done really badly, and there was too much cheese for me. The emo-Parker section in it was horribly annoying as well. I liked Sandman. He was very well done, although (as someone already mentioned) the link to the older films using him was weak. All in all, very disappointing.

yeah, I saw it with friends yesterday and we also were complaining about the 'Emo' crap in that movie. But I must say I enjoyed the movie aside from Parker's bad emo haircut. On 06/06/06 he would have gotten crushed for that, heh. It was entertaining and that was all I expected from that movie and it was very well done. Yes, Venom also sounded human in the dubbed German version which kinda sucked. But I think he was very well done. The final battle was pretty damn cool although the actual ending could have been better.
