I'm listening now to the leaked version and holy fuck. You tranquillity fans are in for a treat. There are things on this album that are just mindblowingly epic. The female and clean vocals are refreshing as well and the diversity is surely a welcome. It's just the album these Swedes needed to make

Eight albums in and this band is unstoppable...

I do dig Dark Tranquillity but they have a tendancy to make the same song over and over again. I heard the free mp3 of one of the tracks off Fiction kinda sounded like alot of their other stuff. Character was badass though, not sure if they could top that!

Trust me, don't judge the album based on Focus Shift. That song sounds nothing like the rest of the album. And when you hear it in the coarse of the album it actually fits perfectly!

I think its pretty savage stuff. Misery's Crown and The Mundane and The Magic are great altogether. It's not DT's best, obviously, but they've consistently put out good quality material down the year and this album won't change that fact. I would definately recommend buying it, I know I shall be.

I think its OK, the second half the album is great but the first half just feels like more of Damage Done/Character.
