Even though I'm a fan....don't know about the movie. Simsons should stay on the box. Even the newspaper sunday Simsons strip is totally unfunny.They are right were they belong on TV. Conan O'Brian was one of the principle writers during a big part of the 'golden age' of the show.(season3-9)I don't know if even he could translate the Simsons to the big screen. I'm just waiting for my Spider-man 3 in May.

yeah like i said before, seeing the trailer makes the movie look like theyre gonna make way too much out of the movie.

It's sort of one of those ideas that sounds good, but when you stop and think about it it's kind of pointless. Why do a movie?

I'll still go see it though. I love the Simpsons too much not too.

the movie and the newer episodes dont look drawn acctually. they look more like theyre computer generated. i hate the look because it makes it look way too clear cut.

Actually, in one of the teasers for the movie (the wrecking ball one), the uh... wrecking ball vehicle... thing... was clearly a flat-shaded 3d model. Kinda ironic considering the whole "fuck 3d" mindset of the teasers.
