A Rock 'n' Roll legend passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Billy Thorpe, of Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs, wrote many a great song, including "Most People I Know (Think That I'm Crazy)". Excuse the language but he was a fucking brilliant showman, excellent guitarist, great singer and one helluva bloke, as my parents, who were lucky enough to have spent time with Billy in the 70's will attest.

Thought I'd stick a clip up as a bit of a tribute to him. I wish mainstream free-to-air TV still let stoner rock bands play 9 and a half minute jams live!

A really rebelliously nice bloke!

Even I'm not old enough to have witnessed him in the heyday, but watching him on TV (such as GTK) as a kid...some of his performances were fucking loud.
