Yeah, that game is one of my all-time favorite works of art in general. Not just the visual aspect, but everything about it. Probably one of the reasons I like this painting so much is that it reminds me of the game.

Don't remind me. I don't know HOW many times I'd been out drank by the Germans at the all the fests I went to as a teen...but it was every single time. Stupid American system, unable to cope with a good Pilsner or Weissen.

Ha! Last Friday I had some cocktails... Vodka and juice. I was drunk quite quickly. If someone who didn't know me would have asked me where I was from, I probably would have said USA or Switzerland or whatever - just because I was so ashamed of being drunk so fast

Btw, it's carnival... And I don't live that far from Cologne... So much for the alcohol-topic!

as most times while painting, i was boosting my imagination with the germans' favourite fuel: beer

@mealz: it is supposed to be something like a giant ant head, and i didn't mean to hide faces in there. that just comes with the technique.

@djskrimp: "ubertalented Teutonic bitch" hahaha, good one! and: it's "weiZen". great stuff! two glasses work like one proper meal, except that it makes you drunk. beer is one really great thing in germany.

whoopsi, two postst in a row. whatever - here, i made another one. the landing of a gigantic, mushroom-shaped ship. it's lik3 3.5 miles high, so i considered a landing would be like a natural catastrophy.
it's painted a bit rough in some parts, but i kinda like that. keeps the imagination going.

Again! really bloody good! i think i like the first one more because of the limited palette but this is really nice. i like the sense of devestation you've got going on there. two thumbs up!
