It's always the same with the two of us, isn't it?

I come first!

...oh yeah, and I've been listening to Times Of Grace quite a bit over the last days.

I can't hack that chick. Admitedly, she's better in battle of Mice than in Made Out of babies but I still think Red Sparowes owns the lot of them. I just can't believe how much better this album is than their last one! This one makes them royalty.

From their official myspace-site:

new album and new live dates

news from HQ

the new album is DONE. the title is Given To The Rising and it will be released in early May on Neurot Recordings on CD/DLP. Prepare yourselves for 71+ minutes of early-period brutality and heaviness combined with all the interior space and wind-swept isolation of the more recent albums.

Neurosis will appear on April 21, headlining the Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, Holland, by special invitation. Also scheduled is a headlining appearance at Hovefestival in Norway on June 28. More tba.

I really really do hope that "more tba" includes some shows in Germany in my area...

Probably not, they don't much like touring :(

Yeah, I know. For the release of The Eye Of Every Of Storm they only played one show in Europe (in London), but looks as if they were willing to appear more often on the stage in order to support their next album. Does that include shows in Germany? We'll see.

I'll wait for the album - I want to keep my excitement and curiosity until I can hear the whole thing. Neurosis is one of the bands who are such an intense experience, I want to be overwhelmed by it without having heard a single note of it in advance.
