Shocked i'm sure, i voted for dev. Simply on the grounds that yet again it was the only release i anticipated the most and spent the most time listening to.

I voted for Dev, then saw Tool on the list and was like "oops".

Tool got my vote. I think that and Synchestra were the only albums I have heard though...

nope, Blood Mountain. Tool still wins though.

I really don't think Katatonia should be winning that. Great Cold Distance wasn't anything special, really... Dev got my vote anyway

Synchestra got my vote, I just didn't like anything that came out this year more than it.

Synchestra also gotmy vote with Eclipse right behind it.

I think the new Katatonia album is awful, I don't understand how it can have so many votes.

That is a fucking appalling list. Only Tool and Devin seemed anywhere near the best to me.

I voted Devin. My second pick on THAT list would have been Katatonia but that's not anywhere near my favorite of 2006.
