Holy crap. If anyone here slightly enjoys dance type music, go and see Pendulum. They played down here in their hometown in Australia and I've never seen a gig go off anywhere like this one did, 5000 people going nuts in the middle of vineyard country with no buildings to be seen. I'm not that big of a fan of drum n bass but seeing a live band play it is something else...

So anyone else here dig them or any other drum n bass type stuff as I wouldnt mind hearing some good quality d'n'b bands for something different

Really? Well it might've had something to do with some certain substances taken during the night but I thought they were great. I dunno if they had a live band and a stupidly big light show when you saw them but it really made it a lot better than the standard DJ thing you see around the place. I actually enjoyed them a lot more than when I saw Chemical Brothers for instance.

Hehe, the substances always help :P

Yeah admittedly, when I saw "them" it was only one actual Pendulum member on decks and a guest MC from Freestylers who sucked ass, so I guess I didn't exactly see a real accurate example of what they can do.

Yeah they used an electronic drum kit but I think the cymbals were real, but don't quote me on it. Sound was massive. Anyone from Perth must go to a gig at Belvoir Ampitheatre at least once in their life.

I once produced a metalband called Pendulum! I bet it wasn't that band you were talking about?
