ive seen last.fm users listening to music they dont like just to have them in their chart... what do u think?

those people are silly and it doesn't give them any benefits.

also having a bier and a biert is going to get confusing D:!

It looks cool but the ergonomy could be better. There are things on front page that I don't really care about, and others that require 2 clicks to reach (like recommended reading: 1 click to dashboard, then 1 to reading). Well I don't comply for 2 clicks, but it's just heavier on their sever, and really annoying when a page won't load.

I would just like to throw this in...not as an excuse, because you should never have to justify what you like, but as a possible answer (for some people):

My wife and kids listen to VERY different music than I do. So, when they use the computer and listen to their songs, it tends to skew my profile. Not that I have a problem with their music, but it does tend to misrepresent what I listen to. Suffice it to say, if it isn't metal, jazz or something proggy, it isn't mine. (Well, I DO have a soft spot for some pop, but it's an infrequent thing.)

So, anyway, maybe some profiles have the same issue of having more than one person's listening habits upload into the Last.FM profile.
