The Spidey movies have been my favourite comic book adaptations by far, I love Spiderman 2.

This looks like its going to be good, I don't know the comic book storyline particularly well but is that Venom and Sandman?

yeah definately sandman, that was confirmed a long time ago by slip of the tounge thanks to dunst in an interview. I don't remember venom being mentioned although I always hoped that if another spiderman was to be made, venom would be a part of it. He would look awesome with the visual effects of this day and age. I expect Sandman was very hard to create too due to the amount of particles needed to create him.

I do hate these trailers that comes out a year before the movie is out though, they get you hyped up knowing you have ages to wait.

Ghost Rider done the same thing to me, I can't wait to see that now after seeing the trailer, yet it comes out next year...I hate waiting. If you havn't seen the Ghost Rider trailer yet, here it is:

Yeah I know man, just thought they might have redesigned him. Purple costume and all.

Ah they can't mess with a classic man, although they can make him look a darker shade, and give him a meaner voice. That should add to his overal presents.

Venom does not appear in this trailer. The guy flying around is Harry on Norman's glider-thing. He doesn't actually have much of a costume. His whole head is showing, and the suit is just a dark wet-suit like thingy. Venom will hopefully look much cooler.

I wish they would include the Carnage saga as well... that would be brutal.

OMG thats a wicked idea - Carnage and Venom! But I think somehow they would mess that up and turn it into a love story.
