Haha! If I was angry then I guess you would be in trouble, but I am not. I would rather this took a bit longer if the quality of the product will be higher.

But yeah, soon would be good! Can't wait to hear it.

February 17th?!?!

Man, I suck!

Well overdue update:

I have been so incredibly busy recently that it is only now I have found the time to turn my eyes and ears to this project. I have among (aMONG...?) other things started a new job (I get to play mad scientist weekdays) and so have had little time to devote my soul to anything at all really.

I am still very much keen to finish this thing, though I am still waiting on the final tracks from a few people. Today I contacted:

Mo (Way Of The Extreme)
Terraformer
StrappingYoungLad (Indignation/Kris)
TeamJonny

And if these people send me something, I will be ready to go!

In the meantime, since February I have been messing around with all sorts of audio things. I have recently been using my brothers rather neat keyboard (Roland EM-20) to create some quite unusual sounds.

With respect to HDAS, I am more ready and capable than ever to do this and have been honing my skills by playing about with my own 'stuff' (what the funk else can I call it....sound?). I have a rather enormous catalogue of things I have created. Perhaps I should create another thread for that, if anyone is interested. Hopefully my favourite bit will go on the HDAS disc, just to freak people out.

Anyway, sorry it has been so long...hopefully it will be worth the wait! I can guarantee you that the music I already have is nothing short of stunning, I just wish I could finish this today...but I cant.

PS: Pisshead: Do you still want to do a 'duet' with me? Maybe we can do this just now while I am waiting. I was inspired by TornioJaws & Greg Reason doing Vampolka.

If you read the original post it should detail what my plan was.

Would you still require a song Mr Monga? I can provide a tune if you want :)

I am quite desperately trying to gather all the original songs together. Until that happens I wont know how much track space will be free. I shouldnt be far off though.

I probably will have some space left over, so I would say to anyone interested to please send me anything you want. I am always happy to hear it.

I would rather have more songs than I need and keep the best ones than have not enough and fill the disc up with random noises. Sadly, not everyone will be able to join in as I am limited to 80 minutes. That does give the opportunity to be competitive though, which could be fun. I may have to be harsh at some point and pick who stays and who goes.

I just want to get this thing finished, sometime before I die.

Anyway, I always want to hear your stuff Hog, regardless. You actually have skill and musical ability! Heh.

Concerning duet: I'm incredibly busy recently, probably why I didn't read this post! I'm usually pretty meticulous about reading everything.

I'm probably not going to be able to do anything until into June, examinations are getting in the way.

After that, sure thing. I barely know anything about ambient music though, it'll be interesting seeing what it'll come out as.

Thats quite alright. I am also really busy and probably should be concentrating on more important things. Though doing little work and maximum timewasting is the way I balance my life.

Hey, me neither! Thats exactly why it would be awesome. Just funny to see what random noises we could come up with.

Okely dokely

We're not going to have enough time to do this right. I have to pull out sadly :(

We just got a new singer too which is lovely but we still have to teach young Daniel the songs which is taking up a large amount of time...

Really sorry Dave, thanks for the consideration though.

(ok a lot of that was crap, I'm really lazy as well)

No, you Mo!

Ahhh well, if you pull out that simply means less waiting on my part. I will still give you a copy, you wee scamp you. If you do at any point spontaneously finish a piece of music, please fire it my way.

No I am only really waiting on the other 3...weeee.
