Why hello there

I'm a recently converted fan. I got into Devin through Ayreon's "The Human Equation" album, and decided to download the songs from the site. I now own all but one of his DTB albums.

As for some info about myself, my name is Travis Lausch, I'm a 20 year old student in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. I'm also a musician, and I perform in my own up-and-coming prog-metal band, The Crayola Mishap. My taste in music is broad, as I'll listen to just about anything from death metal to Japanese pop. My favourite bands are Dream Theater, The Devin Townsend Band, and Rush. I'm also an avid fan of anime and manga, and have a few of my own craptastic attempts to recreate the art style myself .

I've taken the time to brush up on your rules, and I hope to contribute as much as I can to the community (that is, provided I don't forget about the forum when I get home tonight... *keeping validation email in inbox so I don't forget*).

Well, I'll enjoy reading through the topics and possibly posting some. Until then, ciao! ^_^

Thanks for the welcomes so far.

And I noticed the "Musician's Corner" section of the forum, and browsed for as many tabs as I could find. I must commend the members here for their work ^_^. Especially the "Gaia" tab. Now I want a seven-string guitar more than ever ;_;.

Well, I'll have an avatar up shortly, and maybe I'll look around some more. I'm still a noob to DTB, for sure, so I'm gonna do me some learning. XD

I live on the Northwest part of the rim, in a little town called Levack.

Looks like celestial objects like hitting my neck of the woods ._.
