There is certainly some more melodic singing but the guy can really pull it off so I think it adds to the songs a lot. As Fragility said this one sounds like a more complete album....I hadn't even noticed any metal-core tinges and I hate that shit!

Great album in my opinion and i've listened to it about 20 times this week already and its still sounding great.
