Ehh.. I hated it until I just read their little write-up on it:p Revolution was better, but I applaud them for doing yet another something different. Wii will just have to wait and see how it all works out I guess..

I prefer Revolution myself, so I picked that it sucks, but I guess I don't actually hate Wii.

Update: The name has grown on me in the last few hours, i've settled out of my immaturity stage and i'm beginning to see the value in it.

Wii all the way.

"The Big N" is going down with this thing.

The swing-around remote control controller thingy is going to suck. It won't work as well as they are saying.
It's going to be silly playing with that thing, swinging your arms around.
Third Party developers won't 'port' the big selling games to the Wii.

You realise that they're also releasing an add-on cradle for the Wii that turns the motion sensing controller into a "normal" one with extended buttons? Expect this to come with the console and to be revealed at E3.

The President of Nintendo confirmed this when they first unveiled the revmote.

So no, that claim is wrong, FIFA games will still come to the Wii every year.

I've given up, I just think that the Nintendo console games are geared towards younger kids. I'll stick to my PC/Mac, and PSP, along with our modded Xbox and PS2.

Not a fan of 360 yet either.

I think Nintendo are doing great things with the route they have chosen. I for one have become totally bored with computer consoles and games in general over the last 5 or so years. Nothing new has been brought to the table for so long that I see little point in investing in anything. If it isn't a sequel it is an upgrade. I gave up playing games on my PC long ago, and at the moment have none installed at all.

I don't consider more memory or better graphics to be any kind of innovation. I mean, what does the Xbox360 or PS3 do that the previous versions didn't do anyway? It will never end. In 5 years we will be pressured into getting an XBox 1080 and a PS4.

With the Wii (a very stupid name, I admit) at least they are offering something new. It may not appeal to everyone but for once it appeals to me. Who cares if the latest Fifa game won't be ported? There are going to be at least 3 or more other platforms to play these games on.

Should be fun.
