both!!!

I thought I should introduce myself before I go lurking around this forum ( being such a shy boy and all that)

Im 19,
live in a small town in the Netherlands,
I listen to lots of metal/rock stuff altough generally I'm more into the progressive stuff.....
bands and artists? : Dream Theater, Ayreon, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Arena, Pink Floyd, Savatage, Porcupine Tree...... and also stuff like U2, Nirvana, Guns n Roses etc...
Besides listening to music I'm into playing poker( I play it a lot online and sometimes in a Casino around here) and computergames,

I got to know DT trough his work as 'rage' on Ayreon - The Human Equation
and as of lately I'm enjoying his own work.
Still new to it all and I'm not really into SYL so far; it's probably to heavy to my liking, but I'm already more into 'heavier music' then I used to be.. so I might get into it another day... I however love everything he did with the DTband and I plan on buying all his cds; just have Synchestra, Accelerated Evolution and Infinity right now...


Anybody knows when when the Devin Townsend Band will have gigs around europe; preferably in the Netherlands.... ??

Um, unfortunately the DTB won't be in Europe in the foreseeable future...have a browse around the forums and you'll see why.

And no, no DTB touring in the near future (supporting Fear Factory has been canceled ) but SYL will (check out the SYL part of the forums for dates if you're interested - they're playing in The Netherlands as well). Maybe (maybe) it'll be another All in the family tour with DTB supporting SYL.

Now I'll introduce myself as clumsily as I possibly can manage, for YES I am TrDR Egg and you know what THAT means... and if you do please let me know cuz I have no idea. ..............I listen to too many weird bands and avant-garde nuts and metal crap to list, but your guys' fav bands are probably lurking in my playlists, suffice to say. I signed up here a long time ago under diff. name but it took a couple years to learn how to read finally... there's always setbacks. So greetings and beatings from Prnzo aka TrDR Egg and if anyone can help me figure out how to upload a photo from this Sidekick I struggle valiantly to post from into avatar format, I'll sign your copy of Tree of the Sun, no charge.
