It sucks to come back to find your car broken into. This happened to a friends car a few yrs back after of all bands a COLD show. They jacked him for his cds and tryed to get the cd player out, it wasnt anything close to a removable model, there were alot of mark all around it, but main thing is noone got hurt.


I hope to have a review comming up for the 02/18 show in Millvale, Pa. Bev should be betta by then.

Drove up from Portland to go to the show last night. Totally worth the trip because I'm not sure we'll be able to see them headline again anywhere on the west coast. Plus, it was the first show for the new album!

Anway, the setlist was awesome. Triumph and Pixillate were epic live. Ran into a guy before the show who said he had never heard any of Devin's music before, but he'd read some reviews of the band and so he thought he'd check out the show. He bought Synchestra, but I told him to go back to the merch table and just buy every cd they had.

Driving back across the border into the states, I was behind a van in line. After we both got through the checkpoint, the van pulls off and parks as I continue to drive by. I see Ryan, Mike, and Brian start piling out! I assume the other guys were in there as well. Funny shit. I would've stopped to tell them great show, but I was already hitting the on-ramp. Hope the border patrol wasn't hassling them. They've got a long-ass drive to North Carolina the next few days.

Devin Townsend Band tour with Opeth ends Feb. 28th in London, ONT. they are not playing any dates after that as I believe Dev is starting to work on the next Strapping Album.

I missed EL's set due to catching up with bf - but was really blown away by DTB's set.
I really loved the dtb show that took place maybe 2 summers ago -
2 nights back to back..... but this show blew those away.
I thought Dev's voice was really clear, focused and right on the mark.... in a huge way!
And the band was awesome - a fantastically cohesive unit (although Beav was missed - and incidentally looked so bad, you could feel your own dinner coming up when you glanced at him. Poor guy)!!!

My knee hi's were completely blown off by the end of vampira.

The kats & kitties on the dtb stint of the Opeth tour are in for a treat!

However, on the brightside... he might have got out of some driving shifts
