I believe Apple is trying at it's hardest to prevent Windows from running on Macs. I might be mistaken, but I think they are either using adapted Intels or adding some chip to the system that only allows MacOS to be run on it.
But of course, some tweaker/modder will get past that. But it won't be easy.

EDIT: oh and the other way around, MacOS x86 on a PC is not gonna work either. Thanks to the hardware issue.

i'd like to have a nasty powerbook so i could simply give it away to my band's keyboard player and we wouldn't have to spend that much money buyin modules :p

PC does not equal Windows.

You can use other operating systems that are far more stable than Mac's. Linux operating systems are extremely stable, but I would not care to get used to it.

Im fine with my normal operating system that crashes every once in a while. I agree that computers are just tools, but when I see someone comparing a mac against a PC, I just have to point out, from a benchmark perspective, that PCs are definitely the better machine. I really dont care though, I just hate the 1 button mouse, I love my 5 button mouse with my nifty scroller

Actually it's a bit of a little trackball for scrolling in all directions. Not very easy-to-use, apparently.

Yo, nice to see all of you here, guys. Now I finished my studies and have plenty of time to wasting my life, so maybe I'll stick around for a while :)

(Initally I thought that weird mouse on a photo is fake, but well, Apple made that Boob With The TFT Panel On A Stick Computer, so well, I guess it's real. Awful thing - real computer should look like mine - blocky 486 server style case. L33t.)

I have just recently switched to the mac and I have to say I prefer it to a pc any day. Sure there are some things that it might not do. But as far as using it for a working tool, Damn it is awesome. Like has been said before it never crashes. I actually find it easier to operate as well, not being a computer guy. No comments Scott!
