How do you people find out this stuff is coming out? Is there some clearinghouse type site for information like this? Besides DTB and SYL, I had no idea most of this stuff was coming out.
Oh, and I almost forgot, Rush is recording early Spring and should have a new album in 2006. Yes!

For me, mostly word of mouth...music forums, friends-in-the-know...and also e-mail newsletters, and the occasional checking of a band's homepage.
Oxbow - Love That's Last (Rarities + DVD)
Mastodon - Call of the Mastodon (their demo remastered), The Workhorse Chronicles (DVD), Blood Mountain (new album)
Today is the Day - Axis of Eden
Boris - Pink (american/worldwide release), every other damn thing they will probably release.
Burning Witch - Full Discography Reissue?
Khanate - Live Aktions DVD
Boris+SunnO))) - Altar/Altar
and when they're finally released...
Today is the Day - Die by the Wolf (DVD)
new Oxbow album (though they'll probably release some acoustic thing first) next instalment of the Cephalic Carnage sludge EPs.
new stuff by Black Boned Angel, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Magik Markers
Dillinger Escape Plan?, Orthrelm?, Harvey Milk, ex Buzzov-en members, HALO, Jesu, OM... shit I'm still catching up on 2005, gotta get me the latest Kill the Client, Watchmaker, Minsk, Lightning Bolt... blah blah blah. I didn't even bother buying the compulsory metal album of the year crap like Opeth, Nile and Meshuggah yet.
I think Neurosis are heading back into a studio...

Secret Chiefs 3
I read Trey saying something about how the group was recording or something like that a couple of months ago, which we can be pretty sure means that they'll have a new one coming out within the next year. Anyway, Book of Horizons was originally going to be the first of a three part set to all be released within a years time, but then again, Trey is a lot like Devin in that sense, switching ideas around a lot. I like it, it keeps things interesting.

Even tho the feed has 15 headlines while like 60 new items are added every day.
Right on! Thanks!

Ooh yeah. Another one I can't wait for! Have you heard The Arcane Order yet? Go to http://www.thearcaneorder.net and give the clips a listen. This is Kasper Thomsen's new band. It sounds really good, his voice is quite unique in the screamer field.
On the topic of Anathema, who someone mentioned, they are releasing an EP called "Angels walk among us" soon, with about half the songs from the new album, should be sweet!!
Source:
we hope to release an EP to download from the net at a low price.. called ANGELS WALK AMONG US
5 new songs, as a starter before we do the next album. hopefully these songs can help us land the deal we want.
here is a brief rundown
1 BRICKS - working title.. a powerful, catchy rock song, we like this one
2 ONE DAY - already played live a few times, an intense, passionate song with a proper chorus and stuff.. should go down well
3 ANGELS WALK AMONG US - title track - heart wrenching anathema song in the mould of inner silence, one last goodbye, temporary peace and are you there..
4. GET OFF, GET OUT - very inventive, powerful rhythmic song from john doulgas, never did one quite like this before..
5. LIGHTNING SONG - sung by Lee douglas, not a ballad. beautiful and uplifting and a fitting emotional release after a long time away
track list may change but thats what i think at the moment
cheers everyone, your the first to hear this
