Another underated Brit comdey show is 'Big Train'. The first series is top quality nonsense. the dvd has both series' on so its well worth the money.

Note: cool thread Atari! :)

Swiss Toni has just finished - it was my favourite episode, the one where he get's the internet in the office and ends up knee-deep in ebay crap, online gaming and porn pop-ups.

So many great one-liners !

I love the Fast Show - but we rarely see it over here on TV - we have to rely on DVDs - "which is nice".

and to a lesser extent Big Train. I imagine these shows finished in UK ages ago, but they only just make it to late night viewing here!

Good British Comedy:

Fast Show
Monty Python
Blackadder
Office
Little Britain
Extras
Spaced
Black Books
Big Train
Smack the Pony
Smoking Room

and I quite enjoyed Velvet Soup as well, but I think they did only one series. I've been watching Top Gear for like 10 years now, but the 'new' format is way better and funnier.
Last week I catched a glimpse of a new Little Britain episode and after ten minutes I just changed the channels because I simply COULD NOT watch it. It's bloody terrible.

I@m not so fussed about Little Britain.

Top Gear is quality, althouhgh I'm not really interested in cars.

Brasseye was genius.

Spaced was genius.

Black Books was funny.

I'm Alan Partridge was comic gold. I fucking love that show. There are more decent lines in that show than any other.

I can't think of anything else just now.
