Ghost - only caught their last few songs apparently as they were done about 2 minutes after I entered. Sounded good though, and must've looked funky too with their spooky backdrop and white costumes.
Gojira - loud, heavy and tight. They couldn't really get the crowd going, maybe it was too much too early on a very hot and long day, but I really enjoyed the performance.
Zero Channel - skipped them as the shade was too nice to get out of; also, lunch. Apparently they're quite big in Belgium, which in itself is unsurprising as they're Belgians themselves, but never heard of them. From what I heard they seemed to blend a lot of modern metal without being too original, so I dunno. Maybe the stage act was better, but I didn't see it.
Mastodon - impressive, although both vocalists weren't at the top of their game. They were much better at the 013 venue I saw them in a few months ago. They played Octopus Has No Friends though, so that was pretty awesome. And the other non-bearded guitar player proved himself to have a really nice grunt during Blood And Thunder.

Soundgarden - probably my band of the day. Chris Cornell has an unbelievable set of pipes on him, and they were pretty much flawless through their entire set. Most classics were played, apart from maybe my favorite song by them (Superunknown). Really, really good.
Metallica - opened with some old classics (Hit The Lights, MoP, etc), then playing their Black Album in custom order with the big hits at the end. I dunno, they put up a good show, but I expect less sloppiness in the playing, and not just from Lars Ulrich. And the fact they played only one song from beyond their Black Album catalog (Hell And Back, from Beyond Magnetic) makes me think they're not trying with the "new" stuff anymore either (that's 20 years being represented by one song...). And I think that's what made me lose interest in them. Fortunately, they weren't really the reason I went there anyway.
