I've seriously never found a better IRC client than Konversation, but for now that only runs on Linux/KDE.

I'm still looking for a decent client for Windows. I liked Xchat but it wasn't free on Windows (although it is on all other platforms) and the free Xchat clone sucked donkey bollocks.

Last one I tried was BersIRC I believe, which wasn't very convincing either. But I barely use Windows anyway so who cares
