I'm interested in those gutteral vocalisations you were talking about. Who recorded it and how does that person know how they sang back then?
I must say I can't agree with you, for me the two periods are totally incompatible, we don't even know what primitive experience is, far less do we know what primitive experience was in those days. We think scientifically, they didn't. If death metal uses growls, that is simply not enough - in my opinion - to link it with the old ages. If we lose it and mosh like crazy, that is not the same experience like in those days. It's all inscribed differently. I mean, do you know what my problem with your thoughts is?
