There ya go, now that's a good cartoon. I still think it's the best cartoon ever, even beating South Park, Simpsons and King Of The Hill.
Although Beavis & Butthead are at a very very close 2nd place, Family Guy is THE cartoon for me.
I've bought all three seasons on DVD when I was visiting New York, and I can't wait for the new season, and ofcourse Seth's new show, American Dad.

There were rumours about a movie, but unfortunately it was cancelled.

What's this about a new show? I've never hear of American Dad before, what's the story there? Family Guy is definately one of the best cartoons out there. I like it about equally as much as Futurama, but I like them both for different reasons.

The official summery:

AMERICAN DAD, from “Family Guy” creator SETH MacFARLANE, is the animated story of STAN SMITH, who works for the CIA and is constantly on the alert for terrorist activity. Stan will go to extremes to protect his beloved America from harm – as evidenced by the terror-alert color code on his fridge, and his frequent knee-jerk reaction of shooting holes in the toaster whenever the toast pops up. In addition to Stan’s wife and teenage children, the Smith household has two rather unconventional members. There’s ROGER, the sarcastic space alien Stan rescued from Area 51 who deeply resents the fact that he’s not allowed to leave the house, and KLAUS, a lascivious, German-speaking goldfish – the result of a CIA experiment gone seriously wrong.

The task for this family of radically different personalities is to continue to love each other in a world that seems increasingly stressful. And with a guy like Stan leading the way, it’s bound to be one heck of a ride.

AMERICAN DAD is written and executive-produced by SETH MacFARLANE, the two-time Emmy-winning creator and star of the FOX animated comedy “Family Guy,” with MIKE BARKER and MATT WEITZMAN, writers of some of the most memorable “Family Guy” episodes.

I love the idea. Seth has always been political (just listen to some commentaries on the DVD's, great stuff), but has only shown it in a few episodes of Family Guy. And now this show goes after the whole fear and paranoia which has been forcefed to the American people. Brilliant.

It will air somewhere in 2005, but I don't know an exact date. The first 10 minutes of the Pilot are floating around somehwere on the peer2peer networks.

Don't laugh. I actually KNOW some-one from the, er..."Company" who sounds just like that!

Haven't heard of this show until now. This definitely deserves a look.

Wasn't totally what I expected, but I can't say it's worse by any means. Awesome pickup.
