Dehead from Norway here, I used to post on these forums a couple of years back (Nope, that's a lie, it was about the time before the By a Thread concerts, I attended the Deconstruction gig where I actually met a couple of guys from here)
My HevyDevy story is pretty simple; I found the SYl song "Devour" as a preview download on Century Media (I think)
and fell deeply in love with SYL at once and ordered the album at my local record store. The clerk there ordered in Accelerated Evolution at the same time and recommended it to me as it was made by the same artist, So I bought both the "Chicken Feather" album and "Accelerated Evolution" and went home. I was already in love but the last verse of "Storm" and the segue into "Random Analysis" really cemented it down. I was forever hooked.
Now, 14 years later I've seen Devin live three times, two times here in Norway and the Deonstruction gig in London, met him once and got him to draw a birthday drawing for my little sister (she nearly cried
) as she was too young to attend at the time (she has seen him live now though, I made a little Devster out of her, I'm so proud!)... Uhm... I'm gonna stop here because this will just turn into rambling... Well, yeah. Woohoo!!
