Thanks guys! :D

....well this has probably been the most boring out of all my 23 birthdays so far. The first one not spent with friends and/or family, because I have an exam coming up tomorrow. Oh well, I've had a couple of good experiences earlier this month to make up for it.

It's strangely enjoyable trying to save every last cent you can. Seems to bring out a strange kind of inventiveness and creativity.

This is true. It takes more talent and ingenuity to save money for the things that matter than blowing every cent on something shiny and superficial.

Especially difficult when shiny things can be so... shiny!

Still, thriftiness does has a certain charm of its own. It also tastes like rice and seasonable vegetables and is held together by bits of tape.

You had an exam last week, too (and on the same day)?

How did it go?
