You're such a drama queen. Just don't give it to Dev this time ya bollocks.

I was running down a hill barefoot (just go ahead and have a laugh at the thought of my plump self running) and I couldn't stop, scraped my toes on the pavement and ripped off TWO toenails. This sounds like it would belong in the un-awesome thread, but it made me feel kind of metal.

Christ above, that sounds heinous. I actually empathise though, I had a truck roll onto my foot before. While it was briefly resting on my foot, I was thinking "I have a truck on my foot. If that's not metal, what the hell is?" When it rolled off, I was thinking "AAAAAAAAHHHH&%!*@(^

I was actually pushing a car, had all my weight into it, so when it let up I was immediately hauling ass. My first thought obviously wasn't, "This is metal!" when I looked down and saw it, at first I was like "Shit!" I had to walk back to my house, where I surveyed the damage. I did some shitty doctoring, then I thought, "On the the brightest side, it's kinda metal."

It's definitely not as bad as getting your foot run over by a truck. Really sorry that that's ever happened to anyone.

My flight's booked, just needs payment and my passport details, to be sorted tomorrow.

All I need is for my visa to be stamped and I'm ready to go.

I am suddenly back to my 7th grade self and playing Magic: The Gathering again. Not sure why...

The scent in the air is rife with hot dogs, meat pies, and shitty instant coffee.

What does your workplace smell like (anyone)?

This should be a thread unto itself!

Mine changes from week to week (with any luck) but it usually smells like play-dough, crayons, photocopying, sandwiches and has a sort of musty aura about it. Well, the more upper-class schools just smell like cleaning products, but that sucks.

One of these days I want to go cage diving around Great White sharks. That would be so cool.

A guy just had a squinny at me cause he wants me to do FX makeup for his band for a shoot on the 25th, I told him I can do any day after that weekend as I need to have everything done by the Friday, and he chucked his arms up in the air and said "Wicked, we don't have makeup. It's fucked."

Erm, I'm sorry pickle- but I'm not your bitch. He's known all year that I can't do anything until the end of October as I'm working on important shit I'm actually being paid for. He asked me if I knew anyone else who could do it, I said yes, but they're either not cheap or fucking terrible (sometimes both). Ho hum.

In other news, spotted one of my friends on telly-

^You lead a colorful life.

I just spent 20 minutes wiping up pus and blood that was leaking out of my shoulder. Yay.

So... Anette Olzon just left Nightwish, and Floor Jansen will be replacing her temporarily for the remaining tour. As much I enjoyed Anette's voice on Imaginaerum... I'm not going to lie: I've always waned Floor to front Nightwish :3

Yeah... to me that sounds more exciting too. Hopefully whatever singer gets the full time role in Nightwish will shoot something into the band, because I was not a huge fan of Imaginaerum (or however the fuck it's spelled).
