Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

I just watched this movie last week. Weird. Great fucking writing.

One of my favourites for both sheer stupidity and comedy. Excellent :D

Heh heh, yeah I've loved this film since I was a kid. The "he wipes his ass with his record contract" scene especially stuck with my wee impressionable brain.

Currently listening to some rather intriguing Psychedelic Doom. This one is definitely a creeper.

Oh me too, I watched it again on a lark, and thought about how nuanced the writing is for such a dumb movie

New(ish) Gojira. Love me some Gojira, but man... Always need at least 4 listens for one of their records to settle in. Such a wall of music, in the best way possible.

Svartir Sandar was my first go.
Switched over to Dev, now I feel a lot more comfortable.
There were good moments, and now I think I might have heard something that makes me want to return.
AND let's keep in mind, at work I have only left channel speaker working.
Right channel is busted

check the drummer's beard.

I also know a good story about this. The sax player who plays THE riff is a guy calle Raph Ravenscroft. Years after the record he was part of the house band n daily TV show Pebble Mill at One. One day the guest of the day chose Baker Street. In rehearsal the musical director stopped the band and said to him "If you can't make an effort to sound like the guy on the record you may as well leave", to which Raph replied "I am the guy on the record", packed his sax in its case and went to the pub.
