Damn, this is hard. I'll try to vote when I can, but I'll skip if I really can't decide.

Edit: For example, I'm skipping S.Y.L. vs. Underneath The Waves :P

Edit 2: For Kingdom vs. Hide Nowhere, do live versions count, too? I really dislike the Physicist production, which would make me like Hide Nowhere more, but as a song, Kingdom blows Hide Nowhere away for me.

I don't see why not. In my case, I voted based on what the song means to me. For example, Deadhead vs. By Your Command. I love Deadhead, but By Your Command is just so much fun for me, so it really depends on how I felt when I voted. And since I just listened to Accelerated Evolution in its entirity (again), that would probably change again.

That match is one of the most interesting ones for me to track as this week progresses. For me, it was easy; Deconstruction wins by a mile. But it'll probably be really close.

Material is my 2nd-favorite song on Physicist. The Death of Music is roughly my fourth or fifth favorite song on Ocean Machine. And yet I still didn't do it. I'm far more surprised by the fact that Christeen is posterizing Planet Rain. Granted, I voted for Christeen, but still.

EDIT: I'm also surprised by how much ass Deadhead is kicking against By Your Command. The way I'm looking at it, By Your Command was the only song that had a chance at stopping Deadhead from an Elite 8 (and quite possibly beyond) run.

Blackberry vs Sumeria
Ki vs Deconstruction
Color Your World vs Canada
By Your Command vs Deadhead
Triumph vs Nobody's Here

Those were my tough match-ups this round. I've bolded the ones I eventually went with.

Also boo to Love? beating Detox.

Love is up by 1 vote, and there's still like five days left in voting. So if you want Detox to win, just link this to all of your City loving buddies :P

EDIT: I am really impressed with what The Way Home! has done against Mighty Masturbator thus far. I absolutely adore that song. But Namaste is getting destroyed by Truth. :(

I was surprised by many and more of the results so far as I went down through that list... Should be interesting to see how it all pans out. Lots of reeeeally close ones in there.

I was surprised to find that so few people considered Vampira a favorite of Synchestra, which is why that song wasn't even close to making the field for this tournament. In that particular regional, I think the first song that just missed the cut was Slow Me Down.

EDIT: Waking up this morning, the most shocking result that I'm seeing is easily Canada leaping over Color Your World by one vote. Make no mistake, I think Canada is a great song, but I was under the impression that Color Your World was one of those songs that nearly everyone loves.
