I need a career with something with even the slightest creative outlet and fast.

This isn't big enough of a complaint to warrant the unawesome thread or anything, but I spent 20 minutes working on a fairly decent shoop of the windows security lock being on fire for a firewall piece, and I was told to just put up the wikipedia image of a firewall grid instead. Are people that stupid that they can't see a the security lock of their OS on fire with an article headline of "Getting the Most out of Your Firewall" but rather instead a bland fucking grid that's open source and taken from somewhere else?

Seriously?

I will never try at this job ever again. So I guess that's not too bad.

Haven't worked on a national public holiday for awhile. Enjoying the quiet simplicity and the fact I get extra pay.

A friend of mine is being induced today, I'm going up tomorow to see her but for now I've got her brother giving me five minute updates. As of yet, we have no baby. I might need to go up and shout it out.

Reflecting on my day, since I can't sleep, it occurs to me the best advice I gave to someone today was not to mix Wild Turkey with Smirnoff. The second best was applying lavender lotion and/or eucalyptus oil for lobster-red sunburns.
