I'm still bummed at some of the dwarf designs. Where the hell is Thorin's beard? He's a decendent of Durin, for crying out loud! The Longbeards? Hello? Jackson, are you on crack??

Ok, rant over. Other than that, it looks cool.

Really excited for the Hobbit, though I was really looking forward to seeing what Guillermo del Toro would have done with it. I'm sure Peter Jackson is perfectly capable though. As long as he doesn't pull a King Kong.

I liked King Kong. It wasn't perfect, but it was eons better than the 70's remake. The trailer for The Hobbit is damn cool though, and I agree with Paul that Thorin's beard should also be long, but what I am really hoping for is that Jackson goes with del Toro's ideas of having the Wargs look like vicious Arctic wolves, and not the pseudo-hyenas from The Two Towers; having Smaug have a proper reptile mouth instead of a simian mouth would be my only other (major) desire, but I'm sure Jackson will deliver nonetheless.
