I think I'm just totally socially inept and awkward, not so much dumb...yeah, retarded kind of fits.

On the old forum I used to frequent (a Friday the 13th one), I used to go back over my old posts and find that I'd done a total 180 on an opinion without realising it. One month I'd be like "I fucking HATE [X] and everything it stands for", and the next I'd be saying "I think [X] is brilliant, I can totally relate to it", and I'd have no memory of changing my mind...

I always look back on teenage me and wonder how I didn't notice the amount of shite that used to spew forth from me. I was only 15 when I joined up here so I was probably an awful spastic... But then I'm quite happy out now, yet I'm sure when I'm 30 and look back on 20 year old me I'll probably think I was a dick too.

My current position at work is going to be terminated as of January, and I need to be placed in a new contract before then. A mixed blessing, as I loathe having to be put into a new position that may not suit my needs; but still, it could be a better role, and I don't think it will be any worse than what I'm doing now. At least my pay won't be negatively altered.
