My response to this was laughter of a hard consistency.

And not that far from the truth

Debating whether to shave my beard off or not. It's getting kind of shaggy. Should I just trim it? This is the hardest decision I have EVER FACED

I was trying to grow a beard of epic proportion, but when it got to about 4 centimeters long I just could not take it anymore, the scratching and the heat were just too annoying. So I trim it now.

You mean "How did Dave Young's beard grow a man like that?"

I don't post a lot here, but I read a lot, so I probably "know" you people a lot better than you know me (stalker alert), and I just want to say that you are all super awesome, and I've become quite internet-fond of you all.

I would love to post more, but I'm such a grammar-nazi in Norwegian, and it annoys the hell out of me that my English grammar isn't as good as I want. :P But I think it's getting better.

Yup. Anyways. I'm going to make brownies now. :D

Aw :) well you're pretty rad yourself. And don't worry about your grammar, mine is fairly abysmal and I'm a native speaker. Damn American education system.

And I have to echo that I love this community; some of the best people I've got a chance to talk to, and that's being said without even having met any of you. I was a lurker for a long time on here, but so glad I got more involved in the last 6 months or so. You guys are splendiferous.

What he said! It's good to know that more people appreciate the people here as much as I do. I thought I was some uber loser for feeling that way.

^The posts above! :D

I feel like a proper cheeseball for expressing how many happy moments this forum has given me - peaking at Devember of course. :P
I'm rather neurotic, so being able to relax and be my goofy self around you guys (online or in real life)...yeah.. I appreciate that.

:D awwwwwww! Feel the lurv!

Speaking of love, the Australian Labor Party is soon to hold a conscience vote on gay marriage. The results aren't binding, but the results of polls in every state and amongst all the major party's voters (including the conservatives) show that the majority of Australians want same sex marriage fully recognised by the state. For reasons she is yet to articulate, our female, atheist, childless and generally pretty left-leaning PM is somehow against same sex marriage. I personally hope they vote in favour and the PM sees the error of her ways. It's a chance to do something of real significance for the rights of Australians and would give our gay friends the recognition of their relationships that they absolutely deserve.
