Figured I could maybe post some few french videos once in a while, I guess most english speaking folks around here don't get to hear those bands all that often, so maybe some cool discoveries are ahead?
Let's start with Indochine, from France, founded in 1981, associated with new wave/rock/pop. Here's a few of their hits from different parts of their carreer.

Good French music ? Now that's a tough one (I don't find French to be good for singing, or the singer has to have a lot of personality in his voice/flow. Or else the words' meaning hit me before the sound/melody and the song loses its magic)

Indochine isn't my kind of stuff. They had some hit in the late 80's, then kind of disappeared, then came back as some kind of poster band for emo teens, kinda weird.

A topic about non-english good music could be good though, with people posting songs from their native language than could appeal to anyone (heard a few good songs in Swedish since I use Spotify for instance).

Well I did not intend to just post stuff from France, I just thought to post music with french lyrics, maybe the Quebec accent would better suit you? Besides the point was to showcase stuff that some people may have never heard of because of langage, so that non-english idea seems pretty cool to me.
I guess the bulk of what came from France to Quebec was the most popular stuff from France. I'm still fond of the old Indochine, and ilke some of the newer stuff, though I have not really followed up on them after Dancetaria.
