Gee, that sounds fucking familiar. But oh, there was a warehouse backup, so really, all should be forgiven despite flat out lies and not notifying the customer unless YOU contact THEM. Read Internet sarcasm.

Anyway, going home from work here in a few hours to see if it arrived. Crossing my fingers but not holding my breath.

My CDs didn't arrive today, which means that it will be two weeks before I actually get my hands on physical copies of the albums, since I'll be out of this state until Sunday, and Monday is a holiday.

Still don't have squat. At this point it's just comical. I've never sen a company this inept ever. I too won't be home until tuesday, which is awesome, two weeks from release date that I will, hopefully, get it.

To put this ridiculousness in perspective, I ordered something from overstock.com, also bases in California like CM Distro, a week ago today. It shipped on Saturday. I received it today. 4 business days from when it shipped. I think that's all I need to say.

That sucks ass indeed. But I think people from the US have a right to flip their shit, when it ships from within their own country, with no customs or hurdles to go through...they simply did not ship the units on time. There is no excuse for that. Unless they sold so many that they had to wait for more to be printed....then that's ok!

I hope you don't have to wait too long though.

I understand completely, it also strikes to me as particularly annoying when the BIGEST SELLING RELEASE for them is delayed by warehouse and storing, especially since its their..um....BIGEST SELLING RELEASE!

Though it begs the question...why preorder when Itunes sells bonus tracks. Shouldn't everyone wait for physical copies in a box set, and just get the music with bonuses right off? Whats the point in buying a cd early, when you get it late and with less stuff?

Got my two packages finally yesterday. I already complained to Insideoutmusic last weekend. They never replied, so I just hope they got it. At least they did deliver eventually. So far, I've never received preorders in time (whatever they happen to be). The retailers here got the albums 4 days after release which was still way before I got my preorders. Very annoying. End of rant, now enjoy...

I'm sure I could have purchased them from local record stores on the day of release. It was the special 7" vinyl single that sucked me into pre-ordering. Which, turns out to be, a pretty cool item...especially if I can get Dev to sign it somehow.
