When I listened to Deconstruction, a few nights ago, with headphones in the dark (actually my birthday) I felt very good about the first track, but I didn't get Stand and Juular at all, and I was in a state of dis-belief until Planet Of The Apes when I got "into" the sound. I think it's fantastic now, but it gave me a scare at first. (censor this post/delete it if that's a bit too "spoiler" :S)
One album this affected me with was Porcupine Tree's The Incident, which I played through on Audiosurf fully for my first listen. I still think it kinda sucks. Similar but not the same with Black Clouds And Silver Linings (Dream Theater), where I listened to crappy leaks of low quality, in the wrong order and heavily separated. Now if I get leaks, I get full good quality ones...

It's basically an iPod Touch now. I'll load the 4 DTP albums on that in apple lossless format and listen to it non-stop whenever I'm not at the computer.
