Haha that would be awesome (carrément trop fat en fait :P), I would pay a lot for this !

I don't really know what kind of other venues could handle the Extreme fest, but hopefully the organisers will find a way so my fellow french can see how epic Dev is live. I'm so glad I made it to the Glasgow show :guitar:

We need more tour dates in France, come in Lyon next time. I'm trying to develop a bigger fanbase there ;)
And there is a perfect venue with the right size, the Ninkasi Kao.

** The biggest INDOOR French festival PARIS EXTREME FEST #2 (Friday, March 25th – Saturday, March 26th & Sunday March 27th, 2011) at Elysée Montmartre is cancel **

Following the fire that broke out yesterday morning at Elysée Montmartre, the festival team has made every effort to find the best solutions for artists and festival goers.

We tried to move or report the festival in other Parisian venues potentially available, but due to his size, his logistics, his duration and his preparations dating back several months, it is impossible to accommodate bands and audiences in adapted conditions in such a short time.

We therefore have no other recourse to cancel the festival « PARIS EXTREME FEST #2».

Tickets for the festival (Friday March, 25 – METAL STAGE, Saturday March, 26 PUNK STAGE & Sunday March 27, 2011 HARDCORE STAGE + 03 DAYS PASSES) are fully refundable in all the usual box office sellers.

Hey Dev, how is your left eye doing? :-|
I guess we Devin worshipperss were a little too wild when you descended upon us yesterday...

Damn, I'm totally tired out!
The way home after the Ashaffen-burgh show took me hours, since I missed my scheduled train - but it was all more than worth it!

Although I missed the first ten minutes or so, I really liked Aeon Zen. Their last song reminded me of Images & Words, which was a good thing
(triggered snare drum included, as far as I could hear.) They had a superb sound, maybe even better than DTP.

Ziltoid radio was a hoot (I love ABBA, seriously!) and everbody had a blast during the Ziltoid takes onscreen!
I've seen quite a few metal and rock shows in my 38 years, but this was one of the funniest and most entertaining, easily.
Great, great times were had by all!

It's awesome that DTP play some relatively big venues on this European tour, but I loved the intimate atmosphere of this club.
The "All in the Family" show I've attended in Frankfurt in 2003 was the shit, but I think the vibe on and in front of the stage was even better yesterday.
Good to see so many girls, older and younger people in the audience - for a metal show. Almost Porcupine Tree-esque.

One of my favourite moments was a more introspective although very brief one, when Devin introduced Deep Peace;
his "fighting for peace" remark. That made me pause for a moment.

Dev, thanks for shaking my hand (I was the taller short-haired guy with the green shirt near the stage). :)

Beavis, thanks for throwing one of your picks directly into my open hand after the final song,
clumsy me had to drop it of course. ...and the girl in front of me had more fortune.

Luckily, I was able to acquire one of the last Ziltoid- mouse pads/beer coaster packages. Can you say nerd?

Selist in no particular order:

Life
Truth/OM (abbreviated)
Bad Devil
Kingdom
Earth Day
Deep Peace
Deadhead
By Your Command
Color Your World
The Greys
brief KI interlude
Addicted
Supercrush
Bender

Did I miss anything here?

Oh yes, if you have any chance to go see them - GO SEE THEM!

PS: Devin, please release these Ziltoid video takes on Youtube after the tour (or are they already there?)!

Well, yesterday's gig in Belgium was better than I could have hoped for. Fantastic setlist, improvisational bantering providing a very powerful, humorous and dynamic performance indeed.

If I had known how easy it is to meet Dev and get some stuff signed I would've brought my album booklets though, instead I ended up
mumbling something about going to Tilburg... long live social awkwardness :) Might as well try again next tuesday.
