a FLAC of the punishing "Supercrush" performance would be truly, truly awe-inspiring!

I really enjoy hearing Devin sing Anneke's part on Supercrush. Not a preference, but awesome to hear the variation. Kingdom is certainly one of my favorites and this live version is amazing. Truth and OM would be better appreciated in person (or live video). Anything Ziltoid related would be great to see live (unfortunately I have yet to see Devin live in any form--would love if he headlined something anywhere in FL [preferably Orlando HoB  ]).

Great to hear a Ziltoid track with live drums in soundboard quality. Seriously oustanding production (and musicianship, as expected) on these tracks.

Thank you :)

Or by me? :D

Of course...

To be honest, Iinitially included you in the sentence, actually. But then I thought: Nah, excessive amounts of arsekissing are reserved for Devin only.

Oh, and don't get mad at me for this, but every time I read the words "Brett" and "producer" in one sentence, I first think of Bad Religion guitarist, songwriter, producer and Epitaph Records founder Grett Gurewitz - I'm a hardcore Bad Religion fan since the late 80ies, so please don't mind. :)

Sorry folks.

Not that I would expect you to answer but I would be interested in hearing how offering your music in optimum quality would be detrimental to you or the label.

Don't mistake curiosity for entitlement. I appreciate the mp3 version and all who made it possible.

Because this was just an online EP (not an official release), I think the mp3 format is appropriate and I'm personally not losing any sleep about not getting the wav files for it. However, when Dev releases the official live recordings from last year (including the 'Ziltuska' show), that's where we're really going to get the goods!! Can't wait for that stuff, and they will be cd quality without doubt :)

Kingdom, at 2:24 where it goes "Baby please there is no hurry I'm fiiiiine!" I love how Dev's voice breaks(?) towards the end of the word 'fine'. Just adds some hair-tinglingness to the song.

Here's my appreciation of the Live EP 2010.

First of all : Why no Disruptr ?
He played the exact setlist when I saw him in Montréal in 2010 but started the gig with Disruptr.
Did they realised that he kicked so much asses that they gave him room for another song afterwards ? Anyways.
Since Disruptr is one of my personnal favorites i kinda sucks (for me) but still. Let's talk about what's on the EP.

-The sound is fucking killer.
-Devin's voice is getting better and better. I still dream about hearing a version of Kingdom where he sings the ''Now I see the way I'm headed'' part (just like on the studio version) instead of screaming it. I think it's not the best version out there ( The incomplete Ziltuska version is awesomer than this one).
-The band is tight as shit !
-As far as I'm concerned, I think Truth and BYC shouldn't be played by themselves live. I think Truth is just the intro for the whole trip that is Infinity. And I think ZTO is the kind of album you need to listen as a whole to really get it the ''good way''.
So, playing these songs live all alone, separated from their whole just feels ''wrong'' to me.
Maybe I'm just being a picky douche, but I can't really listen to most of Devin's songs when I'm on random with my Ipod.
I need to place them the way they were meant to be placed.
I think his albums are paintings. It would feel wrong if somebody just teared the Infinity painting in pieces and put on beside a piece of ZTO and all.
But then again... Art is still relative, and Devin can't play Infinity and ZTO when he's opening and playing a 30 mins sets.

Oh shut up with me !

Was the song recorded like the others? I would piss my pants for a year to hear that.

Continually mind you.

None of this half-assed bullshit when I'm on duty.

I don't play kiosk, I own the damn thing.
