Just came home from a gig i had with a friend. We improvised psychedelic music in front of like 80 people. Me on open C guitar and my pal on drums.
My head is totally blown away right now. It was one of the greatest things i've ever done.

Well, more or less the same thing happened to me last weekend when my band was asked to replace another band of which the lead-singer got sick on a local festival. I think we started with about 50 people in there, from which we managed to eliminate about 30. At least the remaining ones were impressed so that was good.

And our singer/bassist decided to wear all his clothes inside-out. I don't think I've ever laughed that much during a gig.

Lunar eclipse. Red moon, looks impressive!

On the winter solstice too. Hmmm.

I guess if this were a couple of thousand years ago there would be much ado. :P

The Iphone app called Inception.

It basically locates where you are, the weather around you, plays suitable ambient music to it and bends the sounds around you in all kinds of weird ways. AND it's free,
Hi stoners.

Work also got us all brand new winter jackets. Mmmmmm....warmth.

And today work gave us all 20lb hams. 20lbs! Ham! Smoked Ham! I love ham.

It's been a pretty rough year for the family, financially. I work in the auto industry, and it has been in the shitter for the last couple of years. Any extra food, money, and clothing helps a ton. Honestly, I hate my job. However, they do take care of me. I feel pretty damned lucky to be where I am at.

I'm off until January 5th, which is pretty good. What else? Home made soup, reheated (always better second time round). Also good is my cat when he bounces off the wall.

And now I am going into town to get street party tickets. Will I get parked? Probably not.

And will you freeze to death within five minutes on Hogmanay in Princes Street?

Probably! If this cold spell continues then it could be pretty brutal. They have cancelled it before for less. We did it last year though, thanks to an excessively vast amount of booze. The queues for the loos were especially traumatic.
