Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

My personal favourite :D

I'm going to cover that on youtube one day. I love that song.

LOL. I LOATHE people like that.

So do I Dan. I cant tell you how many times I've been shunned because I like Veil of Maya, or other bands. And it's even funnier that these same people (the ones I know) used to make fun of Devin, now they love him :?

lol well to be honest, nowadays I would be inclined to distrust the opinion of anyone who professes love for Dream Theatre... I used to love them but many years on from that I find them to be the height of bad taste. They were great when my world was small and metal accounted for three quarters of my listening but when I opened my mind and started to listen to music that is progressive in fact rather than in genre name I realized what a load of shit they really are.

The Best of Bruce Dickinson.

I own several of the solo albums, but this is one of the few greatest hits that I'm happy to have just for the tracks from albums I'd rather not go for (Balls to Picasso only has one song worth having and that of course is Tears of the Dragon).

Probably the most criminally underrated solo career ever. I fucking love this stuff.

I'm sort of like that...I haven't liked them since Six degrees...

I saw them live at the end of last summer and it was such a joke. I was pissed...they are just phoning it in now. I honestly wish they would just hang it up.

Yeah, Six Degrees was the last album I cared about.

I think the last minute of "This dying soul" from Train of Thought (imagine their rehearsals - JP yelling FAASTER, FAAAASTER to the JR while making that guitar-sexface) was point of no return for me. Or maybe it was the overture to the second CD of six degrees, where Jordan Rudess shows how many fucking patches he has in his keyboard. Whatever.

In other words: I think I agree with both of you.

Triptykon - Eparistera Daimones.
Awesome album, yet still The Prolonging is a challenge to listen to; it rivals half of Into The Pandemonium in terms of repeated listening to really abosorb. That said, In Shrouds Decayed, My Pain, and A Thousand Lies I'll give repeated listening just because I love them so!

Soreption - Deterioration of Minds

Swedish tech death that doesn't sound like a garbled mess of annoyances is always good.
