The place to speak about Dev's current projects, and everything yet to come

I'm not sure if somebody (Dev himself?) already mentioned it, but it doesn't seem like there is some kind of European CLUB Tour to happen in Summer 2010 since Devin is planning a headlining North-American tour in autumn - except the few festivals the DTP has already been confirmed for like Bloodstock, Brutal Assault and so on (and I expect more to come!)..

That would be a desaster since I'd die to be as privileged as the North-Americans are

Some kind of info, thoughts etc would be cool, thx
(hope this is the right corner to put the topic in)

Since asking for a Southamerican tour is ridiculous... what about some European dates for June?
I'll be in England and Poland for the Download and Sonisphere festivals... I'd kill for at least ONE date around that time!!!
Please Dev!!! make it happen!!! :D

He's already been confirmed for Bloodstock (UK) and Brutal Assault (Czech) and a Finnish festival (although we don't know yet which).

Generally when you are booked for festivals you are not allowed to announce your own tour, as this would take ticket sales away from the festival.
I wouldn't expect a uk to be annouced until bloodstock sells out or until very close to the festival.

Obviously there are exceptions but thats generally how festival contracts work (in the uk at least).

The festival in Finland is Tuska Festival.

Really? That's a bit weird I think...

So an own European tour definitely seems to be nothing to discuss about?

Twitter-Devin says:

"Yup, I'll be doing a headline run in North America in October, and one (with festivals) in Europe this summer. "

...if I got that right: That means I can start happy-jumping through my room's corners??

Or, after overthinking it: I'm afraid no one really knows what he is meaning except himself... since he won't be headlining these festivals.

I'll be hopping around between Poland and Holland at the end of May, start of June.
Really hope there's a headline gig around that time.

I don't hold out much hope for a date in Dublin though.
I shall dream though.

A gig in Holland should be possible? And of course you'll bring a very special guest... Anneke!!
She lives in Holland, so arranging it shouldn't be too much of a hassle :guitar:
