Just plain awesome? My Killswitch ticket came in the mail, so I CAN go tonight. THAT is just plain awesome.

:? No girls at all then?

My awesome of the day is that the Swine flu my wife and daughter have is turning out to be pretty mild in fact. After the first day it doesn't seem any more extreme than a normal summer cold. Certainly not panic stations anymore.

Which is a big old relief.

Thanks for everyone's kind wishes. that has been pretty awesome too.

Yay Morten, job success! Employment is tough and I always get too angry and shout at the managers and quit. I reckon you'll be lovely and patient! Godspeed in your efforts. :D

Awesome is spending a snuggly night in and drinking way too much beer until I feel very full and abuse Jeremy Clarkson on the telly because he's a dumb shit! :D :D :D

Poor Mark having to tolerate me. :(

Awesome is coming home from working a double shift and finding out your mother sopped by and fucking STOCKED the fridge to brim. Then finding she left a $50 gift card to the grocery store! Still broke, but not hungry.

Here is awesome:

Killswitch Engage live. I saw them once before in 2005, but I was high as fuck...and don't remember much. Tonight, I felt like a kid again. I really needed to let off some steam, and BOY did I ever. I am not usually the type to "partcipate" at a metal show....but tonight I just fucking tried destroying everything in my path, with Ryan in tow hahahaha. He went pretty crazy too...It was awesome. I recommend them to anyone. They don't take themselves too seriously either, and as a result are hilarious and highly entertaining. Adam D. in short shorts and a cape? HAHAHAHAHAHA LOVE IT.

On a decidedly lower note, Whitechapel needs to just pack up and go home. They are awful. I was digging the bass drops cuz they felt nice in my bowels, but c'mon....three guitarists? That all play the same damn thing? All I could hear was MUD. And the drummer is sloppy as hell.

Job for a Cowboy? Meh....they were Ok. The grind was pretty vicious...and at least they were tighter than stupid Whitechapel. yuck.

:D

Haha I think Whitechapel had a friend who kept asking to play guitar for them and they finally just felt bad enough and let him in...That's my take on the whole thing.

JFAC's new cd is pretty good, better than their last.

I've seen Killswitch live twice as well, and I think the last time was around 05 as well! haha I saw them with Trivium before Trivium got big.

That's a relief. And hey, at least the fact that they've gotten it means that they definitely won't be infected by that strain again. So there's a positive! :D

Awesome is not much in my life today. Everything is mediocre or shit. I don't really mind, I love complaining and grumpiness. :D
